Sarah Kiepper grew up in Ohio and remembers her father taking her to the library for the first time as a child and the feeling of signing for her very first library card (she’s kept every library card from all of the places she’s lived, worked, traveled, and attended school). She, her partner, and their two dogs moved to Hopkinton, MA, in early 2020, and then purchased a home in Fairhaven in the summer of 2022. She sat on the Friends of the Hopkinton Library board as an at-large member, continues to serve as Co-VP for the Hopkinton Garden Club, and is an at-large member of the Greater New Bedford Garden Club. By day, Sarah works remotely as a chief compliance officer for a technical college in Ohio, and in the evenings, she studies toward completing an EdD in Interprofessional Leadership with a Cognate in Cultural Foundations through Kent State University. She enjoys participating in monthly reading and writing groups and is a devoted reader, writer, researcher, and genealogist. Sarah is a published poet and photographer, is creating a multi-media chapbook, and is writing a historical non-fiction book. Sarah loves living in Fairhaven, meeting new friends, putting down roots, and supporting and becoming more involved in the Southcoast community.
