L'ambiance Francaise
In her early 50s, on a whim, she enrolled in French classes at her local university. Her professor was quite impressed with how quickly she mastered this romance language and allowed her to skip a semester. Weekly she sat at the language table with tenured professors and even the university's chancellor. The requirement for all attendees was 'no English' to be spoken.
